Description:
Bona Fide is a Southwest Idaho duo that performs traditional, contemporary and original acoustic music. Bona Fide's music emphasizes western Americana themes strongly influenced by their life experiences. Marv Quinton, a Meridian resident, sings and plays guitar, mandolin and bass. He was born and spent most of his life in Eastern Idaho. Marv is deeply steeped in the musical and historical traditions of Idaho and has contributed these influences to many popular groups in Idaho and Alaska. His musical groups have included Knee Deep, Swing High, South Fork, Lost Riders and Buckhorn Mountain Boys.
