Founded in 1992, Darkwood Consort has earned international acclaim as the world's only viola and bass clarinet duo. Recent performances include the International Viola Congress in Iceland, the World Bass Clarinet Conference in Holland and extensive touring in Denmark, the Northwest and Michigan. A 10-century spanning repertoire of exotic instrumental music delivered with a sense of humor combine for what the duo calls "stand-up chamber music" with an appeal that transcends any genre.
